We love the Seattle area with all its water! One of our favorite lakes is Lake Sammamish - it's big enough that it doesn't feel crowded! It's also the best lake to meet with lots of friends. At the state park there's a sand spit that we take a big piece of and set up camp. That way we can meet up with friends and family and take turns on the boats and our wave runners. On July 3rd, we had a big group meet us. We had such a fun day! We all got rides on all the toys. Aaron's family - his brother Bryce and friends, his parents, and his sister and her kids joined us as well. When everyone went home we put the waverunners back on the truck and headed back out with the Gustins on their boat. What a beautiful night! The kids had so much fun knee boarding and the guys got in some wake boarding as well. We stayed out so long we were the last ones in the parking lot! They really do close down at dusk!:)
