A few days after Taylor turned 14 he headed out on his first super activity. Basically, it's an extended activity which consists of several days at different places. This year they started off the first three days sailing up through the San Juan Islands, getting dropped off on a small island and having to survive for 3 days with nothing more than what they could fit in a gallon size ziplock bag! As a mother, this just sends chills up my spine. But I knew he was in good hands and would survive. It was fun to hear all about how they "survived" and how good it felt to sleep in a bed again! The rest of the week they spent going to Wild Waves, river rafting, and spending time up in Cle Elum in a cabin. He really enjoyed it and it gave him the chance to get to know the teachers better. I'm just glad he made it home again!
