So much to say about Ragnar this year. First off, we had two of the best teams! We are so grateful to live in an area with such physically active people. There were many runners competing for the first time and we are so proud they took the first big step! Ragnar is definitely not an easy race and even the most seasoned athlete struggles with the lack of sleep, odd eating times, and crazy legs! Aaron and I headed it up this year with Michael and Suzanne Wiggins. In our car was Aaron and I, Tracie, Becky, Coleen, and David Downing. You truly get to know people when you run this race! I love my car peeps! As David put it, it's like being at summer camp all over again! We are also grateful that everyone finished their legs and there were no injuries! SO glad for that! We just wanted everyone to have a fun, positive experience so that they want to keep on running! Even though this race wears me out each year, we'll probably be back next year! Just not in charge..... (Sorry some of the pictures are small - it happens to the ones I downloaded from others)
