Ragnar Relay - July 25-26, 2008

When our good friend, Bianca, first told us about this relay, our first reaction was, "Who would be crazy enough to do that?" Well, I couldn't get it out of my head so I convinced Aaron to train with me so we could both run. I can say today that it was one of the greatest experiences we've ever had. It was also the most exhausting time of our lives. Basically, we were part of a 12 person team. We each ran three legs ranging in distance from about 3 miles to 8.5 miles in length. The total amount we all ran was 189 miles. We started in Blaine, WA and ended in Langley, WA. The scenery was beautiful which got us through the rougher legs. We feel like we have gained brothers and sisters from this and we look forward to maybe doing it again next summer. We love our team, "Maple Valley Plodders"!
