Katie's New Sewing Machine

Katie surprised us last year with wanting to buy a sewing machine!  I don't sew but her grandma Moulton does and turned her on to the art.  She saved up for months but ended up getting one for Christmas.  She absolutely loves it!  We don't have to think twice about that not being a good gift!  Everytime we can't find her we just listen carefully and we hear the "wrrrr" of the machine going upstairs!  She has made hair bands, quilts, bags, hair accessories, and even stuffed animals!  A section of our den/guest room has been turned over to her sewing things.  We look forward to the many things she will create in the future!

Love her smile here!  This is where she is at peace!

Grandma M told us about what a great seamstress Katie is and all the fun things she is making. It's wonderful to find a hobby she enjoys so much and a gift that is actually used and appreciated. Score!
