Brian is built like a Moulton which means that he is a runner. We convinced him that he would love running and signed him up for a zero-hour track team. They practiced a few times a week for a month and then had a meet with other elementary schools in Maple Valley. It was really fun! The meet was held at the high school track and Brian did really well! He ran in the 400 meter and the 4X100 meter relay. There's a future there for running, I think!

I am so glad Brian is running. I can't get my girls interested in it. Maybe we'll have to set up a cousins race and have them all compete. Holly is always up for a challange and hates to lose.
Looks like another great runner in the family. We will be watching to hear more about this, Did you know that Byron's mother could outrun all the boys in her school class, and his brother George ran for BYU? Perhaps it is in the genes. Love, Grandma C.
