A few years ago we took Taylor to New York City and promised the other kids they would get their turn. Aaron had some meetings come up so we decided it was time for Brian to experience the Big Apple! He was so excited! We kind of mapped out what we wanted to do for the few days we were there. He loved the subways and got really good figuring out where to go. I always get lost when we come up out of the stations. I never know which direction we are facing! We went to the Central Park Zoo, Central Park (several times), the Empire State Building, the Today show to hear the Black-eyed Peas sing, the Statue of Libery, Ellis Island, Times Square (at night they shut down the streets to cars and set out lawn chairs for people to enjoy the sqaure!), the Hard Rock Cafe, the LDS temple and church building, and the U.S. Intrepid (the one from National Treasure!). It was so fun to see his reactions to the number of people, cars, etc., in the city. He has a thing with limos so you can imagine how excited he was to see one every other car! It really is an amazing city and we're glad he got to see it!
