Although it was rainy and windy today, we all enjoyed the special feeling that comes with Easter. The kids enjoyed searching for their eggs in the morning. At church we had a wonderful program with beautiful music. It really brought the spirit to the day. We headed up to Aaron's parents for a super meal with ham, potatoes, and great rolls. Every year, Barbara decorates homemade marshmellow eggs with our names! They looked awesome and tasted even better! Thank you for the wonderful evening. We had some good discussions with the kids about the real meaning of Easter. My sister-in-law has the Easter Bunny come on Saturday so that Sunday can be saved for discussions about the Savior and all the wonderful things He has done for each of us. I think we will start that next year. We are so grateful for His atonement and resurrection. We hope that we will keep these thoughts in our minds all year long.
