We love birthdays in our family! Katie turned 8 this year and she couldn't wait! Normally, this was the year for just a family party, but somehow she was able to have both! Her huge sleepover in Portland was the best! We also celebrated as a family, though! My parents, who flew in for her baptism, arrived on her birthday. We picked them up from the airport and headed out to party! We bowled a game at Acme Bowl in Tukwila and then ate at Wendy's. Gotta love those frosties. We must be used to Wii bowling because even with the bumpers up (in honor of Katie) only a few of us got over 100! Guess we need to get out more! She had a super fun day! We love you Kate!
