Mid-Winter Break

Well, we are off on a break again from school! We were talking the other day that growing up we didn't have this many breaks from school! I guess the three weeks at Christmas wasn't enough? The kids are glad to be home right now. And I'm glad to have them here! On Monday, Aaron had the day off work so we decided to be tourists in our own city! We are in town the whole week but still wanted to do some fun things with the kids. We headed down to Seattle! It was beautiful and sunny (the sun is hard to come by this time of year!). We hopped on the ferry out to Bainbridge Island. We just walked on and took the boat across and then back. It was so fun! It has been ages since we've done that. The kids had fun running all over the boat and exploring. After we got back to land we headed down to Pike Place Market where the kids and I walked the whole thing and Aaron spent the whole time trying to find a parking spot. That didn't happen so he picked us up at the other end! Sorry hon! We got home later that afternoon tired but very happy! We hope you all enjoy your break!

Looks like a very fun break! It can be quite fun and very economical to vacation in your own city! I know that in this huge city there are tons of things that I don't even know I am missing. Miss you!
