I've been looking at several family's blogs and thought how scenic their pictures were when they picked out their trees! Well, even though we headed down to the local Fred Meyer in Covington, the kids were just as excited so I still captured the moment! Aaron says the chain link fence behind them looks like we are on school grounds cutting down a tree! I told him we wouldn't be posting it if we did! We all love this time of year and it makes me appreciate the holiday more to see it through the kid's eyes! How excited they are about the littlest things. Do you remember being that excited? I remember not being able to fall asleep the night before Christmas. Thank goodness we have kids to keep the excitement going! We hope you all enjoy this wonderful time of year!

Merry Christmas, Kira, and happy belated b-day. We were out of town, but when I saw the date, your head popped up in my mind. Some things you don't ever forget!!
Thanks for sharing lots of pictures on your blog. You do a great job of letting us keep up on your family activities. Yes, Christmas (as all holidays) become more precious and special when seen through the eyes of excited children. Your children's eyes (and their Mom and Dad's too) express it perfectly! Thsnks for the memories! Love ya, Aunt Kathy
I can't believe how old the kids are looking! Especially Taylor and Brian- Taylor looks a lot like Aaron to me, and Brian looks so grown up with braces! It looks like you guys are having fun with the season- We are SO excited to come see you soon, and that M & D Wright get to be there for Christmas- Hopefully you'll like the gift they're bringing up from us... We thought it would be fun for your family. Anyway I don't want to give it away. :) Talk to ya later!
