This was a neat thing for Taylor. I received an e-mail a few weeks ago telling us that Taylor would be receiving an award and told us when and where so we could see it. We were told it was a surprise so even when the kids saw us parents walking in, they didn't get it! That was funny! This is what the 'Voice of theValley' (our little town newspaper) said about the assembly. "Cedar River Middle School held an assembly last week to recognize 39 students who have exhibited characteristics found in the school's social skills curriculum, known as the Habits of Mind. These are traits that the school wants students to demonstrate as they work in their classes as well as when they leave school." Taylor's award came under the category "Listening with Understanding and Empathy". We are very proud of him!

Taylor is such a neat kid. I'm glad to hear he got recognized! I know Alec really looks up to him.
