Katie's been busy!

The fall is so beautiful here! Don't you love it? I just drive around staring at all the beautiful colors on the trees. THIS is why we live here!

Katie has had a few things going on that I wanted to include. I went with her class on a field trip last week to Pioneer Farm in Eatonville. Although the drive is long, the place is really neat. All I can say is that there was a reason why I was born now. It was so cold the day we were there! I wouldn't have lasted a day back then! But the kids had a blast. Katie even milked a cow!

She also just finished up her soccer season on Saturday. Since we just got a new camera the only pictures I have are of the last game and party. She really enjoyed playing this season and says she wants to play again. She knew most of the team going into it so that made it even better. Her coach, April, did a great job and Katie really liked her. We only had one game in the rain! Pretty good record for Seattle!

Fun to see what your kids are up to! I agree with you on the pioneer times things. I went for 12 days without power and thought I was going to need medication to get over the depression! And we had a generator! I know, pathetic . . .
